Volunteers Needed for our Van Team

York Foodbank are looking for more volunteers to join our van team on Tuesday & Thursday mornings (More need on Thursdays).

This involves picking up at supermarkets and delivering crates of food to our 6 centres around the city.

Individuals should be physically fit and able to lift crates which can weigh up to 20kg. To be able to drive the van a clean licence is required and age over 25. It is not necessary to drive as we have 3 people on each van run. Teams are on a rota basis so your commitment is entirely up to you
