Big or small, every gift you give helps transform lives.

Our foodbank is run by local people for local people – we rely on the community’s support to ensure we can continue to stop people going hungry. Can you invest in the future of our project and help us provide much-needed support to people in crisis in our community?

How is Your Donation Used:

York Foodbank could not provide much needed support to local people in crisis without the generous financial donations of individuals, churches and local partners. Your gift will first and foremost ensure the continued provision of food to those in need through York Foodbank’s distribution network.

In addition, we are committed to relieving local poverty, hardship and distress, addressing the root causes of hunger to help prevent crises before they unfold. This is achieved through signposting and professional advice services, and may occasionally involve allocating grants to other local charities for purposes which are demonstrably furthering York Foodbank’s charitable objectives.
