As part of the Kier Construction (Kier) contract at Full Sutton Prison, the construction company has asked it’s suppliers to volunteer locally and we at York Foodbank are one of the beneficiaries of that time.
The latest to volunteer were Faye and Steffi from Schneider Electric Both arrived suitably togged up for a cold/rainy day and to work in our warehouse. From packing up sweets to unpacking and sorting the food donations, both Faye and Steffi contributed hugely to the team.
A big thanks to them both, to Schneider Electric and to Kier Construction for reaching out into the community like this.
