We are delighted to announce that Halifax College at the University of York has nominated us here at the foodbank in York as their charity partner. Their charity events started with a short visit to us at the foodbank to get a feel of how the operation runs, and then a food collection was done on campus. This was picked up by our van team and over 34kg of food was donated. More activities are to be planned by the RAG team (Raise and Give) at the college. Halifax College is located close to cultivated fields and nature at the campus and has the largest number of residents (nearly 1,000), making it the biggest of the 11 colleges at the University of York.
